Travel Lane County Welcomes New Staff

Marketing Manager and Brand Ambassador Fill Key Roles

Eugene, OR – Travel Lane County is pleased to welcome new staff in our Convention and Sports Marketing and Tourism Marketing departments. 

Our new Convention and Sports Marketing Manager is Philis McLennan. Philis will be responsible to ensure implementation of a successful marketing and social media program promoting the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region as a convention and sports destination.

Philis brings 30 years of marketing management experience to Travel Lane County. Her educational background includes communications and psychology studies at Portland State University and business management at the University of Phoenix. 

Hobe Robin is our newest Brand Ambassador. Hobe will be responsible for inspiring visitors to have memorable experiences throughout the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region by showcasing his own experiences and providing resources to visitors through exceptional customer service.  

Hobe graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Business Administration and majored in hospitality management. Hobe’s has direct hospitality experience in both attractions and hotels, most recently working locally at the award-winning Inn at the 5th.
