Beergarden Announces Their Inaugural pFriem, pFunk & pFries Event
A Total Tap Take-Over for 7 Days starting on Halloween
Monday, October 31st – November 6th, 2022
When the folks at beergarden started talking about who they’d love to do a TOTAL tap take-over with, pFriem immediately came to mind. Hood River’s pFriem Family Brewers has become wildly popular since their start in the mid-2000s and, in a state where great beer is not so hard to find, pFriem has managed to keep on creating some of the best possible beer in the world.
pFriem: Starting October 31, beergarden’s taps will be completely taken over by a whole lot of that ‘best’ beer, and their beer buyer, Brianna Gordon, couldn’t be more excited to announce the complete draft list. “There are a LOT of barrel-aged beers,” Brianna said – 14, to be exact – and she will be tapping them throughout the week. Friday, November 4th, pFriem will be in the house from 5-7pm, and beergarden will be featuring a vertical of Frambozen (2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022). This event also features live music and entertainment throughout the week and since this event kicks off on Halloween, beergarden contacted their friends at Thrill the World Eugene and invited them to bring the zombies to opening night (prior to the live music). In addition to zombies and beer, one dollar from each drink sold between 6:00 and 9:00pm on Monday will be donated to ShelterCare of Eugene.
pFunk: The musical lineup for this event is heavily funk-i-fied: local and regional artists will be funkin’ up the patio stage throughout the week as well as the weekly Tuesday Trivia and Wednesday BINGO, open to all ages and free to join. In beergarden’s completely enclosed and heated tent, live music, entertainment, and outside events continue throughout the year. Get there early to secure your spot!

- Friday, 11/4. 5pm- pFriem on-site from 5-7 followed by PDX artists, Left on Tenth
- Saturday, 11/5. 5pm– Eugene Funk / Jazz band Inner Limits at 5pm followed by another local favorite, SiMPLE, at 7:30pm
- Sunday, 11/6. 6:30pm– local Jazz / Funk band, Nik Barber Group
pFries: In case you haven’t noticed, beergarden loves iteration when it comes to events: beverages, food and entertainment. The six creative food carts at beergarden will be featuring Fries! Here are just some of the specials you can expect:
- Moi Poki: bulgogi fries and loaded bacon fries
- Once Famous: chili cheese fries
- Lani Moku: spam fries
- Nosh: steak-cut fries topped with rosemary, parmesan, cajun or black truffle sea salt and served with choice of dipping sauce: curry mayo, fry sauce, ranch, blue cheese, ketchup, or mustard.
