Springfield Chamber Publishes Impact Highlights from 2024
In addition to celebrating their 75th year of incorporation with an enhanced BLOCK Party sponsorship and a community Time Capsule project, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce continued its relentless pursuit of strengthening and promoting business in 2024.
Over the course of the year, the Springfield Chamber supported and advocated for their members through a devastating ice storm, sustained inflation, and a proposed 3% tax on sales (Measure 118, which was rejected by voters in November). Throughout the year, Chamber members saw expanded programs, valuable networking, and responsible advocacy. In their anonymous annual member survey, members gave the Chamber a Net Promoter Score of 71 (on a scale of -100 to 100), indicating strong customer loyalty – and they also shared some insightful feedback.
“There are many different ways to interact with the Chamber. If you are … not interacting or attending programs/events, your membership is still being used to benefit you regarding advocacy and information. If you do attend programs/events/etc., you will start to see the value expanded just with the connections you make.”
