EUGENE, OR (February 24th)— Euphoria Chocolate Company is celebrating their grand opening in5th Street Public Market’s Markers Row, located on the ground floor of the three-story Market Building, at the corner of 6th Avenue and Pearl Street. A Grand-Opening celebration is planned for Friday, February 26th in collaboration with Ronald McDonald House Charities Heartfelt House.

Twenty percent of Friday’s sales will be donated to Heartfelt House. In addition, Euphoria will be pouring cups of their popular Pink Peppermint Hot Cocoa at no cost to patrons other than an optional donation to Heartfelt House. “In a year where we haven’t been able to donate as much to local charities as we have in the past due to the challenges facing our business and many others during the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to give back in a meaningful way, while helping to raise awareness of the mission of Heartfelt House and Ronald McDonald Charities”, says Euphoria Chocolate co-owner Bonnie Glass. Representatives from Heartfelt House will be on-site, as well as the many artisan confections from Euphoria that Eugene and Springfield have come to love over the past decades.

One factor in Euphoria’s decision to open a shop at the Market was the appeal of teaming up with another locally owned company. “We are excited to be part of this next chapter in Eugene’s development and being part of the community that is coming together at 5th Street,” Bonnie Glass says. “This town is amazing and bursting at the seams with talented innovators doing creative work. We care about this community and we look forward to helping to make where we live and work even better.”

Glass says the new location will offer smaller batches and allow chocolatiers to experiment with new flavors and seasonal ingredients to create confections that aren’t available at other stores. Glass adds that Euphoria is looking forward to expanding its offerings of chocolates made with

locally sourced flavors. “Oregon wine, beer and spirits feature prominently in our product offerings, and we see even more opportunities with the other makers who are part of the Market District,” Glass says. “As a locally owned small business, we value relationships with our clients and partners.”
