Cascade Employers Association Partners with Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc. to Eliminate Health Insurance Deductibles for Oregon’s Workforce

First-dollar coverage health plan option for Cascade’s member organizations pays all employee upfront out-of-pocket expenses

Cascade Employers Association announced today its partnership in Oregon with Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc., a mission-based health benefits company. The partnership makes a unique health plan option available to Oregon businesses and their workforce: Nonstop Health™, which supplements insurance by paying all employee upfront out-of-pocket healthcare costs including copays, coinsurance and deductibles.

Nonstop Health was designed for employers with more than 50 employees enrolled in health coverage benefits. But through the Association’s Pacific Northwest Employers Life, Health Insurance Trust, member employers with under 50 employees on those benefits can qualify.

The Trust combines Nonstop Health with a high deductible health plan (HDHP) through Health Net of Oregon. Nonstop Health covers employee upfront health costs up to the deductible; the high-deductible health plan then pays the costs above that.

“It’s simple – employees pay for their copays, coinsurance and deductibles with a medically-coded Nonstop Visa card creating a simpler, more equitable healthcare experience,” says Gilham. “That’s powerful and unique, and you can only get it in Oregon through Cascade Employers Association.”

By combining Nonstop Health and the Health Net of Oregon HDHP, a small employer’s annual healthcare costs are often less than those from a traditional low-deductible plan as well. “This partnership reflects our belief that small businesses and their employees deserve the best,” says Gilham.
