Quorum of EWEB Commissioners Will Meet on November 1

The Office of the General Manager at the Eugene Water & Electric Board advised media and community stakeholders that a quorum of EWEB Commissioners will meet on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. 

The Commissioners’ meeting will convene at 5:45 p.m. on November 1, and the meeting will take place in hybrid format, where community members are invited to attend the public meeting in person at EWEB’s Roosevelt Operations Center, 4200 Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, or watch the live stream here. Attendees need to enable third-party cookies in their browsers to watch the live event.

Note: there will be an executive (non-public) session at 5:00 p.m. – pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(h) consult with counsel concerning the legal rights and duties of a public body with regard to current litigation or litigation likely to be filed.

Agenda: 2023 Proposed Budgets and Prices, including a Public Hearing; Quarterly Operational and Strategic Goals Report for Q3; Hydrogen Pilot Project Update.

Members of the public are invited to provide comments using any of the following methods: 

In-Person: Complete a “request to speak” form upon arrival.  Spoken comments will be included in the meeting recording.

Sign up to speak by phoneRequests must be received before November 1 at 2:00 p.m. 
Staff will contact speakers with instructions for calling in to the meeting.  Spoken comments will be included in the meeting recording.  

Submit written testimony: clearly indicate November 1 public testimony” or  “November 1 public hearing.” 

Comments received before 2:00pm on November 1 will be provided to the Board in advance of the meeting (comments submitted later might not be received until after the meeting). Written comments will not be read during the meeting.

Note: requests to speak and written testimony can be submitted any time before the requested cutoff.
All testimony will be summarized in the meeting minutes.
