The Lane Small Business Development Center is kicking off fall term at Lane Community College with the start of their core business programs; the Business Plan Accelerator and Small Business Management

Lane SBDC serves any small business in Lane County, with several options for class days and times intended to reach every business and remove barriers to service.

Currently, the Business Plan Accelerator program is in the midst of a transition to a more standardized version that will eventually include an on-demand option. The fall 2024 cohort will, for the first time, take place in the evening hours from 5:30-8:00pm. The modules and classes have been updated and better integrated with other essential Lane SBDC programs. Lane SBDC is excited about these changes and look forward to sharing their hard work with the business community.

The Small Business Management Program year one kicks off the following day, on October 2. This signature program offers a deeper look into all aspects of running a business. Over a two–year period, a customized curriculum helps individuals identify, prioritize, and achieve their business goals. The support and tools provided result in the business owner working smarter, not harder. The program – designed for business people, not academics – offers learning through classroom sessions, peer interaction, and seasoned entrepreneur coaching.
