FREE 2024 Welding Expo at Lane Community College

Lane Community College will hold its annual Welding EXPO on Friday, May 10th, at 9:30am on LCC’s main campus at 4000 East 30th Avenue, Building 8, in Eugene. There is no registration fee or other cost to businesses wanting to attend the EXPO, but attendees are asked to please e-mail Justin Hoffman, LCC Welding and Fabrication and let him know you are coming.

Students are particularly encouraged to attend LCC’s Welding EXPO, but anyone can stop by to attend.

Businesses can apply to have a table at the event, and can expect 300-400 high school and middle school students, instructors, and administrators, as well as the general public. Businesses can set up their tables the day before the event (Thursday, May 9th), from 8:00am-1:30pm, or the morning of the event (Friday, March 10th) before 9:00am. If you set up the day before, LCC’s welding shop will be locked and secured from 2:00pm until the following day.

Presentation tables are approximately 2’x6′. Two chairs and one 110v outlet will also be provided for presenters. If you have anything unique you’d like to present (large banners, weldments, live demos, swap giveaways, etc.), the organizers are willing to accommodate – please contact Justin with your questions. There will be student volunteers to help load, unload, and assemble booths for both days of setup.
