Benefits Available for Springfield Chamber Members

The following Chamber Insurance article has been provided by Del Johnson and Karissa Hess of Johnson Benefit Planning.

 One of the many benefits provided to Members of the Springfield Chamber include access to large group medical, dental, and vision coverage provided in concert with the Bend Chamber. This program provides high level coverage, flexibility of plan design, and very competitive pricing. There is a wide range of additional services that come with your participation in the health plan. The following is a summary of some of those benefits: 

  • Zywave Client Cloud – an HR and Benefit Service including forms, templates, employee communications, & compliance notifications. Base tools are available at no cost and full access to the program is available for $250 per year. 
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – 4 free visits per incident for each member of a household. Provided statewide by Cascade Centers. 
  • COBRA Administration – available at no cost for all Chamber Groups through PacificSource Administrators. This service is not automatic, and groups must choose to enroll to utilize this benefit. 
  • 11 benefits that are not subject to deductible, such as outpatient physical therapy and diagnostic labs and x-rays. 
  • $25,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment – provided to you by USAble, this benefit is available at no cost for all participating employees and COBRA members on the Chamber health plans. This is an employee only benefit and not available to any spouses or dependents. 
  • $1,000 Additional Accident Benefit – available at no cost on all Chamber plans, this benefit will cover the first $1,000 of covered services within 90 days of an accident. This benefit is covered up to the maximum benefit available and is not subject to deductible. 
  • $5 Allergy Injections 
  • Healthy Resources – the following programs are available at no cost for all members enrolled in the Chamber Health Plans: Fitness Center Discount at participating locations, Health Education Reimbursement Programs, Health Engagement Portals, Prenatal Programs, Tobacco Cessation, Weight Management, Wellness Programs for Kids, and so much more! 
  • Workplace Wellness Webinars – Employees working for companies with a strong culture of health are 3x more likely to strive to improve their personal health, which can improve overall productivity and well-being. These webinars are available at no cost for all participating groups in the Chamber Health Plans.
