Seth Gruschow and Alicia Perkins have brought not one, but two new and unique services to the Springfield Business Community. The first of which is Togather, a restaurant consulting business. And the second is Springfield’s first coworking space. To give you in the inside scoop, we asked the how’s- what’s and why’s in a short interview with the owner, Seth- and his employee Alicia:

What Does Togather Do?

We help restaurant owners identify their unique set of strengths and key opportunities. It is easy for operators, customers, employees and even other consultants, to point out problems or complaints. It’s true, we need to know the issues so we can correct them and build consistency. However, sustained success requires proven systems that highlight the strongest aspects of a business and the operation team. We put together a team made up of experienced professionals from many different backgrounds which gives us the edge in helping our clients reach their potential.

Does Togather Work With Start-ups or Existing Restaurants?

Both! We love to work with a variety of business owners and operators. Start ups are always fun because we are building a dream into a reality. New operations need an experienced guide to navigate the overwhelming process of working with local government agencies, property renovations, equipment companies, design teams etc. We love to come in and relieve that pressure so an owner can focus on bringing their vision to life. Working with established businesses that are struggling can be very rewarding for me because we can literally help someone save their business. We have brought hope and enthusiasm back to owners that previous thought they were steering a sinking ship. Assisting an owner to find financial freedom is one of the best parts of my job as a consultant.

What makes Togather Exceptional?

The heart of Togather is our dedicated team. We go above and beyond for our clients because we have all been business owners or mangers with real issues, needs, fears and we built our careers on solving those complex problems. I trust my employees to bring the same level of care I bring for every client and every project.

Why Did You Open Shop in Downtown Springfield?

Moving into Downtown Springfield was an easy choice. I want to be where the action is! The feel and look of downtown is changing in real time, every day. The energy of all the new businesses inspires Togather to grow and expand too. We have several clients in this neighborhood. Being in close proximity allows us to continue be a part of their operations as they adjust and have new needs. It’s exciting to see people discover downtown Springfield as customers and community members.

How Did a Coworking Space Arise from Restaurant Consulting?

When Togather made the move into Springfield I found an amazing space that inspired the idea to bring coworking options to the community. Coworking spaces are common in most major cities and I see them in Eugene as well. The choice to open our office to other professionals was a natural organic process. I hope to see more people take advantage of this coworking space and join the downtown Springfield scene.

A big thank you to Seth and Alicia for opening up to us about their fantastic new ventures.
