Applications for Operational Cost Assistance Grant Open
The following update was provided by Oregon State Chamber of Commerce on 5/26/21:
Since May 26th, Business Oregon is accepting applications to distribute the Operational Cost Assistance Grant.
The Operational Cost Assistance Grant program is designed for businesses with 100 or fewer employees that:
- Offer the consumption of food and/or drink on premise;
- Provide specified indoor physical exercise, recreational or family entertainment; OR
- Provide specified personal services; and that experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon
Applications will open May 26th and will close June 6th. Awards will be selected after a random lottery process of all complete and eligible applications received.
Businesses that received assistance grants through the state’s Oregon Commercial Rent Relief Program for the same location are eligible to receive the grant, provided that the awards amount for the Commercial Rent Relief Program was less than $100,000.
