Last month on January 27th, 2021, The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the first Open House of the year. Over 50 attendees tuned in virtually for a chance to get together and catch up with each other, learn more about the Chamber, and celebrate existing and new members. Greeters Co-Chairs Tab Davis and Scott Stewart led some fun networking activities utilizing breakout rooms in Zoom, and Chamber staff took the opportunity to introduce themselves by refreshing members of each of their roles, the Chamber committees and projects each of them are associated with, and who you’d reach out to for what reason. For staff contacts and more information, please visit our website here.

At the end of the program, fun raffle prizes were given away to lucky winners who attended. Raffle prizes were generously donated by members Cornucopia Main Street, Main Street Market, Sherwin-Williams, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, and Pine Ridge Golf Club. Congratulations to our winners – join us and invite a friend next time for a chance to win at our next Open House!

Thanks to everyone who stopped in, and to our Membership Committee Chair Nick Nelson for helping MC this event. While we certainly miss having these types of events in person, we’re grateful for the ability to host virtual programs to continue to maintain our public health and safety. Be certain you are receiving the weekly “Member Connect” emails to stay informed of upcoming events (email elora@springfield-chamber.org to join the list), and thank you to our members for a fun evening.
