Since 2006, Minuteman Services, Inc. has provided top-quality commercial, medical, and industrial cleaning across Eugene, Springfield, and beyond. Locally owned with a team of 50, they specialize in seamless, reliable service—from office cleaning to floor refinishing and more. The Springfield Chamber spoke with president Paul Hoerauf to learn about his journey and the values that set Minuteman apart.

Tell us a little about Minuteman Services, Inc.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Minuteman Services has been your trusted partner in commercial, medical, and industrial cleaning since 2006. We are locally owned and operated with 50+ employees. We are currently serving the Eugene/Springfield area, as well as surrounding areas.

How did you get started in your industry?
My start in the cleaning industry was a bit of a fluke – I started helping a couple friends who were getting started with their own businesses. I was then hired by a contract management company overseeing retail stores in southern Oregon. After 18 years, I was managing locations in three provinces of Canada as well as five western states. I left to focus on my own business and only travel for leisure not for work.

What services do you offer and what makes Minuteman Services, Inc. unique?
Not only do we provide general office cleaning, but we also provide floor refinishing (waxing) on all types of hard floors, carpet cleaning, windows, and more! We foster a close-knit, supportive work environment where everyone feels like they are part of a team, much like a family. Our commitment to integrity, passion, and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do.

What do you like most about your work?
We love making a positive impact on our community! Whether that is taking care of our employees or taking care of our customers. We also invest heavily in our community.

Any advice for others?
Your janitorial service should be seamless to you and your employees. You shouldn’t have to worry about what is happening when you’re not there. When a customer gives us the keys to their building, we treat that building as our very own.

Anything else you’d like to share?
We firmly believe that our community and employees are our most valuable assets, and I am dedicated to fostering a professional and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We provide a pen for our employees to write their own story. We perform a partnership with our customers and take pride in the fact that you have direct access to the owner. We are not an outsourced service provider. And, we hold ourselves to our core values:
