Springfield Utility Board Publishes Schedule for Executive Session and Public Meetings

All meetings will take place at the Annex building on 223 A Street, Springfield, Oregon, 541-746-8451

Springfield Utility Board continues to offer hybrid meetings in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street, and is wheelchair-accessible. For the hearing-impaired, an interpreter can be provided with 48 hours’ notice prior to the meeting. To arrange for this service, call 541-744-3603.

BOARD MEETINGS – MAY 8, 2024

EXECUTIVE SESSION – 5:00-5:15 PM
Non-public executive session pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(i): attorney client privilege; and to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the General Manager.

SPECIAL WORK SESSION – 5:15-5:45 PM
The Springfield Utility Board will hold a special work session to allow time for further discussion on a letter to the City. Members of the public are invited to join this special work session in-person or remotely, via phone or internet. Please note public comment is not heard during special work sessions.

REGULAR BOARD MEETING – 6:00 PM

EXECUTIVE SESSION – Approximately 7:30 PM, if needed
The Springfield Utility Board will also meet in a non-public executive session pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys. If this meeting is not needed, the meeting may be canceled by the Board.
