Hershner Hunter’s New Associate Specializes in Business and Corporate Law
Bryon Land has joined the law firm of Hershner Hunter LLP. He has been in private practice for over 30 years, focusing on estate and business succession planning and business and corporate law, with an emphasis on state and federal taxation.
Mr. Land is a graduate of The Willamette University College of Law, where he received his juris doctorate degree, as well as the University of Florida, where he received an LL.M. degree in taxation.
Areas of Expertise
Mr. Land has a broad range of experience advising clients on business sales and acquisitions, entity formation, individual and entity taxation and estate planning for individuals and business owners. In addition, he represents taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.
Bryon is involved in all aspects of the estate and business succession planning process, including helping to develop an overall lifetime and post-death plan for the administration and disposition of a person’s assets and/or business interests and effectuating a tax-efficient process for accomplishing the client’s objectives in these important areas.
In business sales or acquisitions, Bryon assists in the negotiation, review, analysis and drafting of all pertinent transaction documents to achieve the best possible results from a tax and administration standpoint.
