Lane Transit District (LTD) has released the second of two short videos in the District’s Budget 101 video series, titled Fiscal Year 2023 Proposed Budget. The videos are aimed at better informing the public about how the LTD budgets are created, their funding sources, and describe what factors cause budgets to change.

“LTD wants to make its budget more understandable for members of the community,” said Christina Shew, LTD’s Director of Finance. “I encourage everyone to watch the first video before watching the second. In less than 10 minutes people can gain a better understanding of the LTD budget and the budget process.”

Shew also encourages community members to review the District’s budget and to provide comment before its expected adoption on May 18, 2022. Those who wish to comment on the LTD Budget can do so during the public comment period at an LTD Board of Directors meeting or via email at clerk@LTD.org.
