71st Annual Award Nominees

Under the theme “Inspire Excellence,” the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will recognize outstanding businesses and individuals in the categories of Pillar of the Community, Business of the Year, Employer of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Distinguished Citizen, and Emerging Leader.

Any of our chamber members may nominate a peer they feel meets the criteria of the award during the open nomination period. This year, a record 32 nominations for six award categories were received and submitted to a prestigious panel of former award winners that make up our awards selection committee. The committee is charged with reviewing all nominations, fairly and thoroughly, and selecting a winner. Award winners will be announced during the Annual Awards and Installation Event on February 25th.

Our tradition of honoring the tremendous achievements of our business community is founded on a process that remains neutral, allowing our independent selection committee the ability to exercise due diligence in selecting winners. 

Individuals and business have been nominated for the following awards in recognition for their significant impact on our community in Springfield and the region:
