About the Oregon Business Wildfire Relief Fund
The Fund is intended to support Oregon businesses and Oregonians impacted by the Oregon wildfires and is made possible through private contributions and in partnership with Oregon Business & Industry, Oregon Business Council, Oregon State Chamber of Commerce, and the Oregon Bankers Association.
About the Grant Application Process
A review committee comprised of individual representatives from each partner organization will approve grants and determine the method of distribution. Funding amounts will be awarded based on need up to $2,500 per awardee. The committee will work with local chambers of commerce across the state to evaluate the needs in impacted communities, resulting in a locally-focused partnership to help organizations on the front lines.
In order to be eligible for funds, chambers of commerce need to submit an application form, stating the impact the wildfires had on their local community, and identifying specific community needs. The application period will remain open until all funds are dispersed.
