EUGENE, Ore. — PeaceHealth Medical Group will open a same-day clinic in the Woodfield Station retail development in south Eugene, offering even more choices to fit with patients’ busy lives.

PeaceHealth Woodfield Station, located at 2846 Willamette St., will start serving patients on Monday, July 22, and a soft opening celebration will be held on July 26.

“We’re excited to add this clinic to PeaceHealth Medical Group’s network of primary, specialty and urgent care clinics in Eugene-Springfield,” said Brad Wakefield, vice president of operations for PeaceHealth Medical Group’s Oregon network. “It’s in a convenient location and will be open earlier and later than regular medical clinics. This clinic also will offer online scheduling. So someone starting to feel ill in the morning could go online, schedule an appointment for later that same day and be seen when they arrived at the clinic, rather than getting in line.”

“Increasingly patients want to take care of nonurgent health care needs at times and places that are convenient to them,” Wakefield said. “This is the first of a number of same-day clinics PeaceHealth plans to add to better meet those expectations.”

PeaceHealth Woodfield Station will open with limited hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. In September, hours will expand to 8 a.m.-7 p.m., seven days a week, and primary care services will be added at a later date.

A grand opening celebration for the clinic is planned for late September.
