Springfield’s The BLOCK Party Returns for 4th Year

Springfield’s The Block Party returns for its fourth annual celebration on September 8th, from 5pm-9pm in Downtown Springfield. The Block Party features music, food, prizes, family games, libations, street art, circus and more. It’s an opportunity to discover, or rediscover, Downtown Springfield and what makes the community so special.

Many local business have supported the party, which will close Main Street on Friday Night from 5-9pm. Featuring a beverage garden with beer, wine & cocktails from The Pedaler, Planktown Brewing, The Mothership Salon & Iris Vineyards. Families are encouraged to bring children to participate in games, win prizes, explore downtown businesses as well as check out Herencia Hispania ’23 on the Springfield Library Plaza. Get connected with local organizations serving the community and explore handcrafted goods from artisan vendors.

This year’s party Sustainability Sponsor is Rise & Shine Social Enterprise. The Wildish Theater is the 2023 Performing Arts Sponsor. Hand of the Heart Massage and Common Bond Yoga are the Wellness Sponsors. The party also received support from Team Springfield, which includes the City of Springfield, Springfield Utility Board, Willamalane and the Springfield School District.
