NWCU leads Oregon Credit Unions in the annual consumer financial services survey.

In their fifth annual ranking of the Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions, Forbes magazine recognized Northwest Community Credit Union (NWCU) as consumers’ first choice in credit union services throughout Oregon.

It’s an honor to lead Oregon’s top tier for credit unions in Forbes’ national review of financial services for 2022,” said Northwest Community Credit Union President and CEO John Iglesias.

I could not be prouder of our teams, as they really put their personal touch on services. Forbes’  recognition is evidence that our members value the uncommon care and consideration our employees bring to financial services,” said Iglesias.

Eugene-based Northwest Community Credit Union serves more than 107,000 members with locations in Portland, Beaverton, mid-and southern-Willamette Valley, North Bend, and Bend. Services were expanded in 2021–22 with the debut of two Premier Service Center locations, one in the Cedar Crossing shopping center in Beaverton; a pilot Premier Service Center is also located in the headquarters building in downtown Eugene, Oregon.

“Members can be proud of this ranking as well—we’re in a select group of credit unions. Of the 5,400 credit unions nationwide, only 3.4% were recognized by consumers as stand-outs in service performance.”

Forbes and market research firm Statistica ranked credit unions and banks nationally, using customer survey data, scoring overall recommendations, satisfaction, and five additional service factors (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice).
