Dr. Suchita Kotnala has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s adult and family medicine team. She will be based at the Barger Clinic in Eugene. She earned her bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. She completed her family medicine residency at University of North Dakota in Fargo.
Ame Phitwong has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s dermatology team as a nurse practitioner. She is based at the University District clinic in Eugene. She earned her doctor of nursing practice from the University of Miami in Florida. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner at Puget Sound Dermatology in Edmonds, Wash.
Dr. Abhinav Tiwari has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s gastroenterology team, based at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.
Arissa Walberg, PhD, has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s behavioral health and pediatrics teams as a psychologist. She is based at the University District pediatrics clinic in Eugene. She earned her PhD in counseling psychology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo.
Dr. Sushan Yang has joined the cardiology team at the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. She earned her medical degree at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She completed an internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and a cardiology fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle.
Brittany Farro has joined PeaceHealth’s neurocritical care team at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend as a physician assistant. She earned her master of science in physician assistant studies from DeSales University, in Center Valley, Penn.
Victoria DeSimone has joined PeaceHealth’s wound and ostomy team at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend as a nurse practitioner. She earned her master of science in nursing at California State University in Long Beach, Calif. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner at Roze Room Hospice/Palliative Care in Los Angeles.
Heidi Schultz has joined the hospitalist team at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend as a nurse practitioner. She earned her master of nursing, with a family nurse practitioner focus, from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
Dr. Moina Snyder has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s pediatrics team as a pediatric hospitalist based at RiverBend Pavilion. She earned her D.O. degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine of Arizona in Mesa Ariz./Portland Ore. She completed her pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital Texas A&M College of Medicine residency program in Corpus Christi, Tex. She also was a neonatology fellow at University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y.
Dr. Kenten Woolhiser has joined PeaceHealth’s neurology team based at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He earned his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He completed his residency in neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Ariz., and his internal medicine residency at Legacy Health Systems in Portland. He previously was director of neurology at Salem Health.
Laura Burpee, a nurse practitioner, has joined the cardiology team at the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. She earned her master of science at Northeastern University, with a specialization as an adult acute care nurse practitioner.
Dr. Tanush Gupta has joined the cardiology team at the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, N.Y. He also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in The Bronx, N.Y., and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center in New York, N.Y.

She earned her medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Va. She completed her residency in neurological surgery at University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine in Aurora, Colo.
