Leadership Eugene Springfield Announces 2026-27 Cohort
Since 1986, the Eugene and Springfield Chambers of Commerce have promoted and fostered the development of civic leadership through Leadership Eugene Springfield (LES). This joint program prepares leaders to serve and advocate for their communities by expanding their networks, deepening their knowledge and awareness, and sharpening their leadership abilities across a wide range of topics. Participants attend monthly, full-day sessions from October to May, with the program concluding in a formal graduation.
As Leadership Eugene Springfield celebrates 40 years of developing civic leaders, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce the 2026-27 LES cohort!
Andrew Boyles | Sycan B Corporation
Andrew Boyles is a Director and Operations Specialist at Sycan B Corporation, a real estate development company based in Springfield. As a member of the Board of Directors, he helps shape the company’s long-term strategic vision. In his operational role, he develops strategies to improve organizational efficiency and oversees real estate development projects.
Andrew served six years in the United States Marine Corps, where he trained combat engineers and instructed leadership courses for non-commissioned officers. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University and is currently in the University of Oregon’s Executive MBA program (Go Ducks). In 2019, he served as vice chairman on the Technical Advisory Committee on Housing for the City of Springfield Development Code Update Project.
Andrew lives in Eugene with his wife and their newborn daughter. He looks forward to continuing his service in the Eugene/Springfield community.
Angel Montes | Lane County Medical Society
Angel Montes is a healthcare communications professional, community advocate, and medical school candidate. He serves as Communications and Marketing Director for the Lane County Medical Society, strengthening connections between physicians, healthcare organizations, and the broader community. His work includes physician advocacy, community engagement, healthcare communications, and initiatives supporting medical education and physician wellness. He is also Senior Editor of Medical Matters magazine and serves on the Board of Directors of the Springfield Education Foundation.
Angel earned a B.S. in Human Physiology and Chemistry from the University of Oregon. His interest in medicine was shaped by early experiences helping his family navigate the U.S. healthcare system. While at UO, he founded Med Advance, a pre-health conference providing students with clinical learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities. He runs two small businesses with his siblings, enjoys restoring his classic Datsun 280Z, and provides donation-based photography to the community. Go Ducks.
Brittany Kramer | United Way of Lane County
Brittany is energized and passionate about connecting communities. With a background in the arts and organizational design, she actively utilizes a creative, people-centered approach to develop highly effective teams and equitable, inclusive programs. She currently works as the Associate Director of Education at United Way of Lane County, within the Early Childhood Hub, where she convenes cross-sector partners to align Lane County’s early childhood system.
An alumna of the University of Oregon, Brittany earned a Master of Nonprofit Management in 2021. She finds joy in local bookstores, exploring her newfound love of gardening, and finding wonder in the simple moments with her two young boys and husband.
Cameron Yates | Summit Bank
Cameron is a Senior Client Services Advisor at Summit Bank, and specializes in supporting clients with complex business structures, handling onboarding, signer changes, and ongoing account maintenance with a steady, solutions-first approach. Known for building real trust and strong relationships, Cameron focuses on anticipating needs, recommending the right account services, and delivering the kind of service that feels genuinely human.
Outside of work, Cameron was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the HIV Alliance and is looking forward to his wedding in 2027. Cameron is a fan of all kinds of games, and loves hanging out with his two cats, Charlie and Bob. Bonus points if the weekend includes a local vineyard and a glass of red.
Chris Hayes | Partnered Solutions IT
Chris Hayes has spent the past 14 years with Partnered Solutions IT, helping businesses make sense of technology, cybersecurity, and the occasional computer problem that somehow disappears the moment IT walks into the room.
Before joining PSIT, Chris served in the United States Air Force, deploying five times in support of operations overseas. Today, he works closely with clients to understand not just their technology, but their business. He’s passionate about making IT approachable and understandable, without the jargon, scare tactics, or unnecessary complexity that too often comes with it.
Outside of work, Chris is a happily married father of two who enjoys camping, fishing, riding bikes with his family, and working on cars—although the definition of “working” occasionally becomes questionable depending on how many parts are left over. His long-term plan is considerably less technical: retire before 60 and open a little beach bar somewhere in Costa Rica.
Christie Sears | Ko-Kwel Wellness Center
Christie is a clinical services leader with more than 15 years of experience in community-based healthcare and nursing. She currently serves in a clinical leadership role within tribal health, where she is focused on strengthening healthcare access, improving clinical operations, developing sustainable workflows, and supporting high-quality, culturally responsive care for Native patients and the community.
In her current role, Christie works across primary care, behavioral health, opioid treatment services, quality improvement, staff development, and community partnerships. She brings a practical, people-centered leadership style and enjoys finding solutions that make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and compassionate.
Christie is passionate about expanding services, building strong teams, and creating opportunities for patients to receive comprehensive care close to home. She values collaboration, innovation, and community connection. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, spending time with family, and cheering on the Oregon Ducks.
Clarissa Warrick | Travel Lane County
Clarissa Warrick is the Director of Operations for Travel Lane County, where she combines her passion for community with extensive experience in leadership and operational management. A proud University of Oregon graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, she previously served as General Manager for Atlantic Aviation, leading teams and overseeing complex operations with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
Outside of work, Clarissa enjoys spending time with her husband, their young daughter, and their dogs. When she’s not in the kitchen trying a new recipe or baking something sweet, you’ll likely find her exploring Lane County’s parks, eateries, community events with her family.
Darrel Kau | St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County
Darrel Kau is a Eugene native with more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, fundraising, marketing, and organizational management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree from the University of Oregon in nonprofit management and arts administration.
Darrel has served in leadership roles with the Eugene Ballet, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, the University of Oregon, Food for Lane County, Samaritan Health Services, and currently serves as Community Engagement Director for St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County. His work has centered on building strategic partnerships, fostering community collaboration, and connecting people and organizations to create meaningful, lasting impact. Darrel is passionate about serving vulnerable populations and advancing solutions to address the root causes that limit the upward mobility of disadvantaged people.
David Hersch Jr. | David Hersch State Farm and Hersch Wine Lounge
David Hersch Jr. is an entrepreneur, business owner, and community advocate who believes business is at its best when it creates a positive impact beyond its doors. As the owner of David Hersch State Farm and co-founder of Hersch Wine Lounge, David has built his career around developing people, fostering relationships, and finding meaningful ways to give back to the community he calls home.
Drew College | Roehl & Yi Investment Advisors
Drew joined Roehl & Yi in October 2022 and became an equity partner in 2025. As Chief Operating Officer, he provides executive leadership, oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations, and manages and evolves its systems and processes.
Drew graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2014 with a B.S. in Economics. He commissioned as a U.S. Army officer and served in the Infantry Branch for more than eight years, holding roles from Platoon Leader to Company Commander, along with various staff positions up to the Division level. He is a U.S. Army Ranger School graduate.
Following his military service, Drew and his family relocated to Eugene, Oregon, where he lives with his wife, Hannah, and their two children, Belle and Cole. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through exercise, reading, and competing in a variety of sports.
Halle Neumann | Eugene Chamber of Commerce
Halle grew up in Northern California and moved to Eugene in 2019 to attend Bushnell University. After graduating, she began her career at the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, where she found her passion of supporting and advocating for local businesses.
In her role at the Chamber, Halle enjoys helping members become more engaged through events, advertising, business advocacy, and other programs. She also serves on the Young Professionals (YP) Council, where opportunities are created for young professionals to connect, grow, and become more engaged in local civic and political issues.
Halle is excited to deepen her civic involvement and strengthen her connection to the community through Leadership Eugene Springfield.
Hanna Eberle | Lane Education Service District
Hanna Eberle is the Career Connected Learning Coordinator at Lane ESD. A Eugene native, she earned her master’s degree in science education and communication in the Netherlands, then returned home to build a career at the intersection of science, education, and community engagement.
At Lane ESD, Hanna works to connect schools with local employers and community partners to expand access to career exploration and skill-building opportunities for students across Lane County. She is passionate about making career pathways visible and accessible to all students, particularly those in rural communities who have less exposure to professions and industries that could shape their futures. She is drawn to systems-level work and to building things that create lasting impact well beyond any single interaction.
Outside of work, Hanna can be found cooking with friends, bouldering, reading, or tending to a vegetable garden that has recently gotten a little out of hand.
Hannah Felt | PIVOT Architecture
Hannah Felt is a Project and Grant Manager with PIVOT Architecture, a Eugene-based design firm specializing in education, transit, civic, and affordable housing. Since graduating from the University of Oregon in 2023 with a degree in Business, Hannah has spent the past three years working on various statewide and local initiatives supporting education, workforce development, and community engagement.
Through her work with Team Oregon Build, she has supported over 100 schools in building over 500 shelters for communities in need. She also facilitates 10 Career and Technical Education Regional Advisory Committees in partnership with Lane ESD, connecting local employers and educators around work-based learning. Hannah serves on the Community Engagement Committee for Lane Workforce Partnership and regularly volunteers to mentor high school and college students on career navigation.
Jake Mylenek | Edward Jones
Jake Mylenek is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and an emerging community leader in the Eugene-Springfield area, where he has lived for nearly 15 years. In addition to building a successful practice from the ground up, Jake has made community involvement a cornerstone of his professional and personal life. He serves as Secretary of the Board for NAMI Lane County, Chair-Elect of the Membership Committee for Springfield Rotary, and is a member of Lions Club and the Springfield Chamber Membership Experience Committee. Jake also co-founded and currently leads one of the region’s largest BNI chapters.
Passionate about service, leadership, and financial wellness, he is committed to strengthening the community through collaboration, volunteerism, and helping others achieve long-term success.
Jayson Matthews | DevNW
Jayson Matthews is an outcome driven executive leader with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and local government sectors. Currently the Chief Operations Officer for DevNW, a nonprofit headquartered in Springfield with offices in Oregon City, Salem, and Corvallis, who has a mission to help low- and moderate-income Oregonians build wealth through home ownership and other opportunities that can be passed along to future generations.
Prior to joining DevNW, Jayson served as the Interim Human Services Director and Assistant Director of Senior and Adult Services for Maricopa County; Vice-President of Community Impact at Valley of the Sun United Way; Senior Program Manager at the Corporation for Supportive Housing; Chief Development Officer for United Food Bank; as well as the Chief Program Officer/Assistant Director for Tempe Community Council/City of Tempe.
Jayson has extensive experience working with elected and government officials, nonprofits, and community members around the issues of the unhoused, affordable housing development, food insecurity, workforce development, and services for children and older adults. Since 2016, Jayson has served as an instructor at the Arizona State University Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation, where he also earned a master’s degree in public administration.
Jennifer Hilliard | ShelterCare
Jen brings nearly two decades of entrepreneurial experience and deep community commitment to her role as Philanthropy Officer at ShelterCare. As co-owner of Capitello Wines, a hospitality and wine business in downtown Eugene, she built a thriving enterprise known for genuine connection and event excellence—skills that naturally translated into her passion for donor engagement and philanthropy.
Her 25 years in the wine industry taught her the power of bringing people together around shared values. Now, as part of ShelterCare’s development team, Jen channels that expertise into building meaningful relationships with donors and supporters who share the mission of providing shelter, support, and pathways to stability for those experiencing homelessness.
A devoted mother of two high schoolers, Jen is active across the community as a volunteer with 4J schools, Girl Scout leader, and as a Rotarian and Oddfellow. She is thrilled to join the LES cohort to deepen her leadership skills, expand her network, and continue building the community connections that drive sustainable impact in Eugene-Springfield.
Jenny Tubbs | Welcome Home Loans, Inc.
Jenny Tubbs is a native Oregonian and her love for this state and community only gets deeper each year.
She moved to Eugene in 1999 to attend college & study business at the University of Oregon, met her husband (a local awesome man), had two really cool kids, and never considered moving on as this is where a lot of family is currently rooted plus the local community is amazing. She has been with a small mortgage company, Welcome Home Loans, Inc., for over 10 years and enjoys almost every moment of the challenging job.
If you were to sum up her life in one sentence it would be, “Born extremely curious and willing to help/love everyone that comes across my path”. If you come across her in the community, please don’t be shy to come up and introduce yourself. New people & new friendships make for much happiness.
John Aaron | Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane
John Aaron is a Construction and Properties Director for Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane, with 30 years of industry experience. Self-motivated organized team player and skilled communicator. Stellar staff recruiter and mentor. Hired, trained, and leads multiple crews of construction and maintenance employees. Powerful production and budgeting skills, breaking Habitat for Humanity’s Central Lane all time production records. Knowledgeable in all facets of building/facilities construction, property development, city infrastructure and maintenance. Highly organized and a strong emphasis on safety.
He is a retired professional drummer and percussionist who keeps an in-home studio and still plays often solo as well as with family and friends. When not playing music his garden and animals keep him busy. He supports his local Springfield community by volunteering in several city advisory committees as well as the Willamalane Park and Recreation District.
John McIntyre | East West Tea Company
John McIntyre is a servant leader who believes that great results start with great people. As Director of Operations, North America for East West Tea Company, he is passionate about building strong teams, developing future leaders, and creating cultures where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. With a career rooted in operations, continuous improvement, and leadership development, John is known for his collaborative approach, authentic communication, and commitment to helping others grow. He takes pride in fostering safe, high-performing workplaces while driving meaningful business results.
Outside of work, John is deeply involved in his community as a youth sports coach and volunteer, investing his time in developing young athletes and supporting local organizations. He lives in Eugene, Oregon, with his family and remains guided by his faith, values, and commitment to serving others.
Kara Marcotte | Self-employed
Kara Marcotte is a talent acquisition leader with extensive experience building teams, partnering with leaders, and connecting people with opportunities where they can thrive. A Eugene native and Sheldon High School alum, Kara spent over a decade with Shutterfly before going on to work with Nike and Viasat. Kara supports hiring talent across a variety of teams, industries, and geographies. She is passionate about relationship building, thoughtful leadership, and making a meaningful impact in the organizations and communities she serves.
Outside of work, Kara enjoys traveling, exercising, spending time with family, and exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She and her husband, Andrew, live in Eugene with their much loved rescue dog, Leia.
Karen Davis | First Interstate Bank
As a Commercial Relationship Manager, Karen Davis works closely with business owners to understand their unique goals and connect them with financial solutions that support sustainable growth. Her focus on relationship-building and community engagement drives her commitment to local economic development.
Outside of her professional role, Karen is deeply committed to community service. She serves on the boards of Hope & Safety Alliance, Friends of the Children Lane County, and CCD Development, and contributes to finance, development, and loan committees that support each organization’s mission. She is also a CASA volunteer, volunteers monthly at United Way’s Dining Room, and is active with Multifamily NW.
Karen believes strong communities are built through collaboration, service, and leadership. She is excited about the opportunity to participate in the LES program to deepen her understanding of regional issues, expand her network of community leaders, and further enhance her ability to make a positive impact in the Eugene-Springfield area.
Kelsey Elliot | Relief Nursery
Kelsey Elliot is a longtime Eugene resident who has called the community home for more than 15 years. She moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), where she earned degrees in Political Science and Philosophy and developed a lifelong passion for civic engagement and public policy. During college, she interned with U.S. Senator Ron Wyden.
Kelsey’s career has spanned hospitality, community events, business, and nonprofit leadership. She currently serves as Communications & Marketing Coordinator at Relief Nursery, where she helps advance the organization’s mission of strengthening families and nurturing children to thrive. She also serves on the Advisory Board of #instaballet, supporting creative opportunities for children in the community.
Kelsey is passionate about building meaningful connections, elevating community voices, and bringing people together around shared purpose.
LaMonte Morgan | Emergence Addiction and Behavioral Therapies
LaMonte Morgan grew up in a small town on the Oregon coast. As a teenager and young man, he struggled with addiction and during one two year period, he churned in and out of jail 45 times. Later, while serving a 39 month sentence in state prison, he was accepted into an alternative to incarceration program which set him on the path to sobriety and a life free of crime.
Today, LaMonte is the Endeavor, Discovery, Threshold Program Manager with Emergence Addiction and Behavioral Therapies in Eugene, OR, an agency that provides services to people wanting to address their substance use issues by providing Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder treatment. It provides wrap around services including a Job’s Resource Center to assist with resumé building, job search strategies and leads, employment workshops, and mock interviews to build confidence. The program also provides, Cognitive Based Therapy utilizing CBI/SUA, CBI/IPV, DUII, and Moral Reconation Therapy curriculums designed to alter how individuals make decisions between right and wrong.
LaMonte sincerely enjoys the work he does and could not be more proud of the organization he works with. He says, “The wise words of my grandfather have finally come to fruition in my life: ‘son, if you find a job you love, you will never work a day in your life.’ Thank you Grandpa!!!”
Luke McAllister | Valley Sims
Luke McAllister is the founder and “Master of Mulligans” at Valley Sims, bringing together his love of golf, business, and creating a place where people can have a great time. Luke is passionate about making golf approachable for everyone—from serious golfers looking to improve their game to complete beginners just looking for a fun night out.
When he’s not at Valley Sims, Luke enjoys spending time with family and his two fur babies, Luda and Snoop. His goal is simple: create a place where people can relax, laugh, compete, and leave with a story to tell.
Madeleine Shaw | Boston Consulting Group
Madeleine recently chose to make Eugene-Springfield her home, drawn by the region’s strong sense of community, quality of life, and access to nature. She is a Principal at Boston Consulting Group, where she advises governments, businesses, nonprofits, and higher education institutions on complex economic and social challenges: e.g., economic development, workforce competitiveness, housing, and homelessness. She brings deep experience building public-private partnerships to further community impact across states and cities. Madeleine began her career in international development, working to expand economic opportunity and build resilient communities with a focus on gender equity, financial inclusion, and climate adaptation.
She is passionate about collaborative leadership and eager to deepen her connection to Eugene-Springfield while contributing to the community she now calls home. You’ll find her hiking, biking, golfing, running, and learning ceramics around town—often with her two dogs, Chase and Coralee, and her husband, Pete.
Max Walko | Thorp Purdy
Max Walko grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania and received his undergraduate and law degree from the University Pittsburgh. He practiced law in Pennsylvania for over a decade and relocated to Oregon in 2024 with his family.
Max now lives in Eugene and is an associate attorney at Thorp Purdy in Springfield. There, Max uses his litigation experience to provide top-notch legal services to a diverse group of clients. Max is passionate about bettering his community and enjoys exploring remote parts of Oregon.
Melissa Riley | Willamalane Park and Recreation District
Melissa Riley is the Grants and Development Analyst for Willamalane Park and Recreation District, where she helps lead grant development, builds community partnerships, and supports fundraising efforts with the Willamalane Park Foundation to strengthen parks and recreation for the community. After five years coordinating Willamalane’s Inclusion Program, Melissa returned to the organization in her current role, bringing a perspective grounded in accessibility, community engagement, and relationship-building.
Originally from Tennessee, Melissa moved to Oregon in 2019 and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the region’s natural beauty and the people and communities that have made Oregon feel like home. She is passionate about personal growth, with a desire to listen, learn from others, and make a positive impact in the Eugene-Springfield area.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spoiling her golden retriever, spending time in nature, and experimenting with new recipes and baking.
Mia Rivera | USI Insurance Services
Mia Rivera grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and after completing her Bachelors in Psychology and Strategic Communication at Miami University, she moved to Springfield in January of ‘24. She was given an opportunity at an insurance brokerage and has remained in the industry.
In her role at USI Insurance Services, Mia helps mid-sized businesses with their insurance programs. She provides education about coverage and helps business leaders achieve their risk management goals.
Since moving to the Eugene-Springfield area, Mia has immersed herself in the community through networking organizations, like SPIN (Senior Provider Information Network), and both chambers of commerce. She serves on the fundraising committee for Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane and has held various club officer roles for North Eugene Toastmasters.
Outside of work, you’ll find Mia hiking, reading, drinking coffee or hosting. She’s likely spending time with friends, her partner, Kyle, and their two cats, Butters & Bugsy.
Molly Mair | Rise Realty NW
Molly Mair is the owner and Principal Broker of Rise Realty NW, boutique real estate brokerage in Eugene. She is an active leader in the real estate community, serving in local and statewide roles focused on education, fair housing, and creating more inclusive communities. In 2025, she was honored as Eugene REALTORS®’ REALTOR® of the Year.
Community service is a big part of Molly’s life. Through Rise Realty NW, she organizes projects supporting food insecurity and housing needs, from local food drives to fundraising and volunteering with shelter organizations. She has also helped bring fair housing education and events to communities across Oregon.
At the center of it all is Molly’s family and a commitment to making a positive impact in the place they call home. She loves tennis, getting outside with her family, attempting to grow things in the garden, and is the brand-new coach of her six-year-old son’s soccer team.
Dr. Pierre V.C. Morton | Lane Community College
Dr. Pierre V. C. Morton brings a unique blend of lived experience, academic leadership, and visionary purpose to higher education. A proud product of the community college system and a seasoned leader with Ivy League institutional experience, Dr. Morton’s path affirms the transformative power of education.
After earning his GED at 36, following successful careers in the music industry and entrepreneurship, Dr. Morton pursued four academic degrees, including an MBA and a doctorate. His journey from student to scholar fuels his deep commitment to expanding access, nurturing student identity, and advancing social mobility through rigorous inquiry and inclusive excellence.
An advocate for faculty development and cross-disciplinary engagement, Dr. Morton champions environments where educators thrive and where research, teaching, and service are aligned with justice, relevance, and action! He has cultivated meaningful community partnerships that bridge together campus and civic life, expand pipelines into higher education, and create mutual benefit through shared resources and programming.
A life-long foster and adoptive parent alongside his husband, Michael, Dr. Morton helped raise thirteen children and adopted three sons who are now grown men.
Ryan Kounovsky | Lane Workforce Partnership
Ryan Kounovsky is the Director of Workforce Strategy and Innovation for Lane Workforce Partnership, where he leads efforts to connect strategy, policy, and practice across the regional workforce system. He oversees the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker programs and manages innovative programs that expand access to training, career pathways, and economic opportunity.
With experience spanning public policy and program design, Ryan bridges strategic vision and practical execution to make workforce systems more effective. He leads strategies that align resources, partnerships, and services to strengthen coordination, improve outcomes, and drive equitable economic mobility.
Ryan brings curiosity, creativity, and a deep appreciation for collaboration to his work—building systems that help people and businesses where they are so they can grow together.
Sammi Almatrood | OnPoint Community Credit Union
Although he was born in Eugene, Oregon, Sammi Almatrood spent much of his childhood in Bahrain, where his family relocated to be closer to his father’s roots in Saudi Arabia. Growing up in such a diverse environment shaped his appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and the connections that bring people together. He returned to Eugene at 17 and has been proud to call the community home ever since.
Sammi’s journey has taken him through a variety of experiences, from archaeology, skilled trades and retail to entrepreneurship and banking. Today, he works at OnPoint Community Credit Union, where he enjoys building relationships and helping members work toward their financial goals.
Outside of work, Sammi enjoys knitting, reading, and spending time with loved ones. He’s also a devoted Oregon Ducks and San Antonio Spurs fan. Through Leadership Eugene-Springfield, he looks forward to deepening his connection to the community and finding new ways to make a positive impact.
Travis Knudsen | Lane Regional Air Protection Agency
Travis Knudsen is Executive Director of Lane Regional Air Protection Agency, Oregon’s only delegated local air quality agency, based in Springfield. He joined LRAPA in 2020 as Public Affairs Manager and grew into the Executive Director role in 2024, now overseeing permitting, enforcement, monitoring, and federal grant compliance under authority delegated from Oregon DEQ and EPA Region 10.
Before LRAPA, Travis spent a decade as a broadcast meteorologist, learning to translate complex, invisible systems into decisions people could act on, a skill that shaped how he now bridges regulatory science and public trust.
Outside of work, Travis writes about lived philosophy and reflective awareness, exploring how genuine attention and honest listening build empathy across differences. He’s looking forward to the program and to putting that same thinking to work on the region’s air quality and business community for years to come.
