The Springfield Chamber creates new Shop Small® Business Page to list updated hours and deals of local businesses, encourages engagement from community with social media contest

Springfield, OR (November 11, 2020) — The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday® once again! November 28th is the 11th annual Small Business Saturday®, and we are dedicated to helping make the celebration a big success for local small businesses in our community.

New in 2020, we’ve created a Shop Small Business page to connect our community with our local small businesses. If you’re a local business and want to share your holiday deals and hours, online store, or other updates, email us through the link on the page (https://www.springfield-chamber.org/shop-small/), or at phil@springfield-chamber.org to have your hours and holiday specials listed.

We’re also celebrating with a Shop Small Giveaway! Enter to win prizes by following one of the three ways below.

1. Create a post on social media (Facebook or Instagram) celebrating your favorite local small business; tag the business and the Springfield Chamber, or use the hashtag #ShopSmallSpringfieldOR
2. Post a picture while you safely shop small; tag the Springfield Chamber, or use the hashtag #ShopSmallSpringfieldOR
3. Post a picture of your holiday-themed “ugly sweater” mask to show us how you’re safely shopping small this holiday season; tag the Springfield Chamber or use the hashtag #ShopSmallSpringfieldOR

Prizes include $50 and $100 gift certificates to participating local businesses. Winners will be announced the first week of December 2020.
