Public Hearing: Community Development Advisory Committee to Discuss Amendments to CDBG Funding

The Springfield Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) will meet on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to hold a public hearing on proposed substantial amendments to prior year Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plans. The committee will also discuss the proposed changes and make a recommendation.
The meeting is open to the public and offers both in-person and virtual participation options.

Background
The Springfield Community Development Advisory Committee advises the City Council on the use of federal CDBG funds, which support housing and community development projects that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents. The Committee currently includes five voting members and two ex-officio members and typically meets a few times each year. Recruitment for new members begins each fall.
