Upcoming Springfield Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee

The Springfield Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) will convene on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:00pm for a regular meeting. This meeting provides an opportunity for committee members and community participants to engage in discussions about bicycle and pedestrian issues within the city.
Participants can attend the meeting either in person at Springfield City Hall’s Jesse Maine Room or virtually via Zoom (meeting ID: 870 6049 5157). Alternatively, participants can join by phone by calling and entering the meeting ID.
The meeting location is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Those requiring an interpreter for the hearing impaired or other accommodations should email or call Emma Newman prior to the meeting. City TTY users can dial Oregon Relay Services for assistance.

The Springfield Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, established in 2011, is a volunteer group that advises the Springfield City Council, Springfield Planning Commission, and city staff on bicycle and pedestrian matters. The Committee comprises nine voting members and four ex-officio liaisons who meet bimonthly or as needed. Recruitment for new committee members typically occurs in autumn.
