Springfield Oregon Retro Art Series Posters are available in time for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22!

In 2019, the City of Springfield worked with local graphic designer Chloe Bradford to develop the Springfield Oregon Retro Art Series. The poster series features unique Springfield destinations such as the Springfield Flame, the Oregon Women Veterans Memorial Sculpture, and the Ken Kesey Mural in Downtown Springfield. Posters are 11 x 17-inch, perfect for framing and gift giving. Sales of the posters have been on hold through the pandemic and are once again available for purchase just in time for Oregon22!!

Posters are now available for sale at the Springfield History Museum for $15 each and $40 for a set of three – including the Springfield Flame, the Oregon Women Veterans Memorial Sculpture and the Ken Kesey Mural in Downtown Springfield. The Museum is located at 590 Main Street in Springfield and open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Additionally, while limited supplies last, community members and visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the commemorative US Olympic Trials – Race Walk poster for just $10! The City hosted the US Olympic Trials – Race Walk event on the streets of Downtown Springfield on June 26, 2021.

Proceeds from the sale of this series will allow the City to help support future public art projects in Springfield, Oregon. It also provides visitors and residents alike with a beautiful keepsake of their time in Springfield.

This retro art series expands and promotes existing public art while providing visitors and residents with an opportunity to support future public art in Springfield, Oregon. It is also part of the City Council’s goal to promote and enhance Springfield’s hometown feel while focusing on livability and environmental quality.
