First Springfield Greeters + Small Business Solutions Hub Partnership Event to Focus on Tax Deductions

On Tuesday, June 23, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Small Business Solutions Hub session in partnership with the Springfield Greeters, providing attendees with both networking and educational opportunities. The program, Springfield Greeters + Small Business Solutions Hub: Tax Deductions Every Small Business Owner Should Know, is at the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield from 6:30 – 9:00am.

The Springfield Greeters are a group of local business community members focused on developing connections and promoting business development. Greeters meetings are facilitated by the Springfield Chamber and offer weekly business networking opportunities. Also run through the Chamber, Small Business Solutions Hub provides educational business programming, with topics curated to meet local needs and presentations conducted by industry experts.

By combining key elements from two of the Springfield Chamber’s most established programs, the Springfield Greeters + Small Business Solutions Hub event fosters business connections and conveys actionable information for members to apply directly to their businesses.

This collaborative event will begin with Springfield Greeters programming, including networking, announcements, and member engagement. Following this, the event will transition into the Small Business Solutions Hub session. This segment of the program will feature a presentation by a local tax expert, who will share guidance on common business deductions, recordkeeping best practices, frequently overlooked expenses, and tips to help business owners stay organized throughout the year. After the presentation, the program will conclude with a Q&A and door prizes.

• Early networking: 6:30am

• Q&A and door prizes: 8:30 – 9:00am

The event comes in an expansion of the Small Business Solutions Hub program from four to six events annually through the introduction of two educational sessions in partnership with Springfield Greeters. The expanded series reflects the Springfield Chamber’s continued focus on providing local businesses with practical tools, timely insights, and peer learning that support day-to-day business growth and long-term success.

In the first collaborative edition of this expansion, Springfield Greeters + Small Business Solutions Hub will offer attendees a balance of valuable networking and impactful insights into tax deduction practices. Admission is $20 and includes breakfast and two raffle tickets.
