Springfield Invites Families to City Hall-O-Ween on October 30

Free afternoon event features indoor trick-or-treating, a magic show and activities with City staff and community partners
Costumes, candy, and Halloween fun return to Springfield City Hall on Friday, October 30, as the City of Springfield hosts its annual City Hall-O-Ween celebration.
The free, family-friendly event will take place from 3:30 to 5:00pm at Springfield City Hall. Families are invited to come in costume and trick-or-treat indoors with City staff while enjoying activities throughout City Hall. A family-friendly magic show begins at 4:00pm in the City Hall lobby.
Community organizations will also join City staff for the celebration, giving families an opportunity to connect with organizations serving Springfield and the greater Lane County community.
Participating organizations include:
- Catholic Community Services of Lane County
- The Arc Lane County
- Made By You
- Rise and Shine
- Springfield Drifters
- Eugene Springfield Fire
- Springfield Utility Board
- Franz Grilled Cheese Truck
“City Hall-O-Ween is a fun opportunity to welcome families into City Hall and celebrate together,” said City Manager, Nancy Newton. “We appreciate the City staff and community partners who help make this event special each year.”
