Brothers Cleaning Celebrates 50 Years in Springfield
Brothers Cleaning, a leading provider of commercial and residential cleaning services, is proudly celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
Bob Kramer and Tony Metcalf founded Brothers Cleaning Services in 1973. It started as a part-time business to provide the two partners with income while they continued their college educations, but through their efforts their fledgling cleaning service business grew steadily to be the largest company of its kind in the Springfield/Eugene area. Operating under “Brothers Carpet Cleaning, Inc.” and “Brothers Cleaning Services, Inc.,” the company provides residential and commercial carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning services, as well as a full suite of commercial cleaning services, including janitorial services, window washing, floor care, pressure washing and parking lot sweeping. Steve Dahill purchased the company from Metcalf in 2019, who retired after 46 years at the helm of the company.
