Donations Being Accepted to Help Cedar Creek Fire Evacuees

If people would like to help those evacuated as a result of the Cedar Creek Fire in eastern Lane County, there is a need for monetary assistance as well as donations of specific items.


Donations to help people:

The United Way of Lane County supports new and emerging needs in our communities in times of crisis, and current funds will support needs related to the Cedar Creek Fire in southeastern Lane County. Donations can be made at www.unitedwaylane.org.


Donations to help animals:

Greenhill Humane Society is in need of:

  • New or like-new large to medium pet crates
  • Bedding
  • Pet food

Donations can be provided directly to Greenhill. 


Donations to help large animals:

Lane County Animal Services is accepting donations of the following at the large animal evacuation shelter at Lane Events Center:

  • Hay
  • Feed
  • Water buckets
