OCCU announces 2021 board officers, new supervisory committee members
Eugene, OR – OCCU is pleased to announce the election of Beverly Anderson as vice chair and John Gogol as secretary of its board of directors. Jeanine Jensen will serve another term as chair.
Anderson, a member of OCCU’s board of directors since 2006, has held a variety of OCCU board leadership positions including chair and secretary. Anderson is a retired attorney and previously served as an instructor at Lane Community College and as CEO of Dove Medical in Eugene.
Gogol, elected to the OCCU board in 2017, has worked in several financial services sectors including regional banks, accounting firms and Oregon school districts for 20 years. He also supports community programs associated with the American Cancer Society, the Susan B. Komen nonprofit and Habitat for Humanity.
Jensen is a shareholder of PBC Insurance in Eugene with more than 20 years of experience in the field of employee benefits. She has served in leadership roles with the OCCU board and supervisory committees for 10 years, and with local civic and nonprofit organizations.
OCCU also has appointed Ellen Manzer and Justin Freeman to the supervisory committee, which provides organizational oversight of credit union compliance, including legal and regulatory requirements. Manzer has experience in auditing, risk management and governance. Freeman is a small business owner with experience in credit union operations and technology.
