New providers join PeaceHealth Oregon
PeaceHealth is pleased to announce the following new providers:
Dr. Virginia Barak (pictured left) has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s Pediatrics team. She is based at the RiverBend Pavilion clinic. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb., and completed her Pediatrics residency at University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School.
Patrick Basco, a physician assistant (pictured right), has joined the Cardiology team at the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He earned his master of science-physician assistant program from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Fla.
Jennifer Durrant, a family nurse practitioner (pictured center left), has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s Senior Health & Wellness Center at the Barger clinic in Eugene. She earned her master of science in nursing-family nurse practitioner from University of Massachusetts Boston. She previously worked as a family nurse practitioner at Springfield Family Physicians
Emily Griffith, a family nurse practitioner (pictured center right), has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s Adult & Family Medicine team. She will be based at PeaceHealth Woodfield Station, a same-day clinic in south Eugene. She earned her master of science in nursing from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fla. and completed a nurse practitioner fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Center for Advanced Practice, Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. She previously worked as an RN at several PeaceHealth Oregon hospitals.
