Four Star Charity Navigator Rating for Catholic Community Services

Charity Navigator is the largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities in the United States providing data on 1.8 million nonprofits. Charity Navigator evaluates charitable organizations in the United States, operating as a free 501 organization that accepts no advertising or donations from the organizations it evaluates.
Recently, Catholic Community Services was informed that we have received a FOUR-STAR rating. This is the highest rating possible and we are very proud of this accomplishment. This independent rating provides all of our benefactors with independent proof of the importance of the work of CCS and the excellent level of stewardship we provide in putting donated funds in service to the most-needy among us. Responding to Christ’s message to love our neighbors as ourselves, Catholic Community Services of Lane County offers immediate help by providing food and other assistance to anyone in need and seeks to instill hope by helping Lane County families take positive steps to move out of poverty. Today, Catholic Community Services distributes food boxes, provides emergency shelter and transitional housing, supports and educates young parents, and distributes energy assistance and other funds to aid people in a variety of difficult situations.
