Give Local, Build Local: Support the Springfield Chamber Foundation this Giving Tuesday
As communities across the country come together for Giving Tuesday, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to support the Springfield Chamber Foundation, the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner working to build a strong and vibrant economy. When individuals and organizations invest in their community, those contributions create a ripple effect – supporting students, strengthening the workforce, and uplifting the broader business environment.
The nonprofit Springfield Chamber Foundation serves as a direct pathway for tax-deductible gifts that create measurable and lasting impact. Funded through Impact Investors and contributions from individuals and organizations, the Foundation directs every dollar toward programs that expand opportunity, support workforce readiness, and advance community revitalization. Donations can be made online; by check sent to PO Box 155 Springfield, OR 97477; or dropped off at the Springfield Chamber Depot at 101 South A Street.
A great example of the Foundation’s impact is the 2025 Career and Technical Education (CTE) grant cycle. Earlier this year, the Foundation awarded more than $10,000 to support hands-on learning projects at four high schools across Lane County. Selected from eight applications totaling more than $57,000 in requests, the funded projects are helping more than 500 students build real-world skills in natural resources, manufacturing, healthcare and technology – industries that anchor the region’s economy.
