Oregon is proud to be the first state designated Accessibility Verified by Wheel the World, raising the bar for transparency and inclusivity in travel.

Wheel the World is a leading global platform dedicated to making travel possible for everyone, with more than 5,000 verified hotels, activities, and experiences. Each listing features detailed accessibility information—real photos, key measurements, and features—so travelers with disabilities can book with confidence.

This milestone is the result of a coordinated statewide effort to evaluate, promote, and improve accessibility across all seven of Oregon’s tourism regions, from outdoor adventures and cultural attractions to culinary experiences and lodging. Oregon is now the first state to provide travelers with disabilities or mobility challenges a dedicated online resource to plan their itineraries with their needs front and center.

In partnership with 43 communities and more than 750 tourism businesses, Wheel the World has verified a significant share of Oregon’s hotels, activities, transportation, and restaurants. These trusted listings make it easier than ever for travelers of all mobilities to explore Oregon’s natural beauty, rich culture, and culinary bounty.
