Springfield’s The Block Party exists to bring the community together and celebrate the city’s vibrant culture. As Mayor Sean VanGordon noted in his 2025 State of the City Address, “The success of our 2024 Springfield Block Party demonstrates the importance of bringing each other together. Families joined to celebrate our community with games, music, and shared experiences.”

Returning for its sixth year, The Block Party 2025 will expand to cover over seven city blocks, featuring more music, food, and libations while deepening its impact in Historic Downtown Springfield. The event has become a cherished tradition for residents, businesses, and civic organizations alike.

To support this growth, organizers are seeking a Title Sponsor – a prominent strategic partner to help elevate outreach and programming for 2025 and beyond. Event organizer Benjamin Wilkinson has successfully funded The Block Party through small-dollar sponsorships from Main Street businesses, local service groups, and medium-dollar Premium Sponsors, with organizers volunteering their time.

A Title Sponsor would receive naming rights, exclusive social and media exposure, branded posters and merchandise, and the opportunity to enhance the safety, outreach, and overall experience of The Block Party 2025. All large-dollar donations this year will be tax-deductible.

Springfield’s The Block Party remains committed to being free and accessible to all Lane County residents. As Mayor VanGordon emphasized, “Events like these remind us of the power of connection and the joy of gathering to share our traditions.”
