PeaceHealth Expands Lab Draw Services for Clinic Patients in Oregon and Washington

Share:

PeaceHealth now offers in‑office phlebotomy services at clinics across Oregon and Washington. At the same time, outpatient testing is now centralized at the RiverBend Annex in Springfield, Oregon, a PeaceHealth‑owned laboratory.

These changes are designed to improve the reliability and consistency of laboratory services while creating a more seamless experience for patients and clinicians.

Patients can expect faster turnaround times for lab results, a more integrated experience through the My PeaceHealth online patient portal and increased access to financial assistance options.

Most newly created caregiver roles were filled by phlebotomists who previously worked for Quest, helping maintain continuity of care.

Laboratory testing at our hospitals is not affected by this change.

About PeaceHealth
PeaceHealth, based in Vancouver, Washington, is a non-profit Catholic health system offering care to communities in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. PeaceHealth has approximately 16,000 caregivers, nearly 3,200 physicians and clinicians, more than 160 clinics and 9 medical centers serving both urban and rural communities throughout the Northwest. In 1890, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace founded what has become PeaceHealth. The Sisters shared expertise and transferred wisdom from one medical center to another, always finding the best way to serve the unmet need for healthcare in their communities. Today, PeaceHealth is the legacy of the founding Sisters and continues with a spirit of respect, stewardship, collaboration and social justice in fulfilling its mission.
