Member Profile: StablePoint Advisory

StablePoint Advisory helps individuals and small business owners get clarity and confidence in managing their finances. The Springfield Chamber spoke to Cass Smith, Founder of StablePoint Advisory, to learn more about the organization.
Tell us a little about StablePoint Advisory.
StablePoint Advisory is focused on helping people simplify their financial lives so things actually work.
Most people aren’t lacking information, they’re overwhelmed by it. I come in, help them see clearly, strip things down to what matters, and put simple systems in place so they feel in control again. It’s not ongoing bookkeeping or complicated planning. It’s a reset—clear, practical, and meant to last.
How did you get started in your industry?
I’ve spent years working in finance, operations, and coaching, and I kept seeing the same pattern. People were doing their best, but things still felt messy, heavy, or unclear. At the same time, I’ve always been drawn to simplicity in my own life. Less noise, more clarity, more intention. StablePoint came from bringing those two things together: real financial experience and a belief that things don’t have to feel so complicated.
What services do you offer and what makes StablePoint Advisory different?
StablePoint Advisory focuses on helping individuals and small business owners get clear, organized, and confident with their finances.
I guide clients through what I call the StablePoint Reset. We spend the first 30 days getting complete clarity, tracking and organizing everything so they can see exactly what they have. From there, if they want to go further, we spend the next 30 to 60 days going deeper, reviewing everything line by line to simplify, streamline, and make sure their money is being used in the most efficient and intentional way, aligned with their goals.
I also offer ongoing support for clients who want help maintaining and evolving their systems so their finances continue to feel manageable and aligned over time.
What do you like most about your work?
I love the moment when things click for someone. When the overwhelm lifts, things make sense again, and you can almost see their shoulders drop. That’s the shift. It’s not just about money. It’s about feeling steady and back in control.
Any advice for others?
Things don’t have to feel as complicated as they do. With the right clarity and a few simple changes, everything can start to feel lighter and more manageable.
Anything else you’d like to share?
My favorite part of being a Springfield Chamber member is being connected to people who are building things in a thoughtful way. There’s a lot of value in simply having real conversations, learning what others are working on, and being part of a community that supports each other.
