Tell us a little about yourself and your business.
I am an Oregon native and have spent the last 15 years in the Willamette Valley area. I have a true love for Lane County, spending much of my time outdoors and supporting local and women-owned businesses. If you’re looking for an expert on the most delicious hidden gems to visit, I’m your guide!
I am a full-time real estate agent. I love building relationships and creating community. I always try and answer my phone! I really do! And if for some reason I can’t, I call back quickly, usually within one hour. My service and knowledge of the industry does not end where my real estate license begins. Whether reading up on current market trends, attending courses to further my education, or meeting with other agents in the area to collaborate on my business model, I am always striving to ensure the quality of service I provide my clients is top tier. Where and how did you get started in real estate?
I am a registered nurse and I enjoyed caring for people in a hospital and clinic setting for over a decade, but I was ready for a career change and wanted to be out and about in the community.
The best thing that a person can do to create financial stability is buy a house. I think that financial stability goes hand in hand with health. It is very hard to be concerned about health when you are concerned about money. I think real estate is an amazing opportunity that we should all be able to access. My dream is that every single American would be able to buy their own home.
What services do you offer and what makes you unique?
I provide excellent support and education, property valuation, online and print marketing, open houses, networking, expert negotiation, contract management, experience, and guidance. What makes me unique? My favorite quote is: “There is no such thing as an obstacle, unless you make it one.” I like to think I am open-minded and a creative problem solver. I like to think outside the box. I like to find a way or make one.
What do you like most about this work?
Every day is different and I am always learning something new. I love to help people.
Do you have any advice for others?
Buy a house or maybe two or three! Always have good representation. Hire an agent that has experience and does real estate full time.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I am a native Oregonian. I love living in the Willamette Valley with my dog Huck and life partner, Justin. We love to ride bikes and take long walks in this beautiful place we call home.
