I am incredibly honored to be welcomed to the SPI team and look forward to supporting the work and priority of building meaningful and long-lasting community relationships.

Courtney will be joining SPI from the City of Springfield where she currently serves as the Economic Development Manager. At the city she oversees and builds local and corporate retention and expansion relationships, policy and implementation strategies, and public-private partnerships for infrastructure investments and site development. Courtney graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in public policy, planning and management, and has a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University.

Courtney will assume this role in January 2022.

SPI acquired Oregon-based Seneca on October 1. The combination brought together two family-owned companies with a shared expertise in sustainable forest management and manufacturing innovation along with a common commitment to their people and operating communities. In Oregon, SPI has 450 crewmembers, operates four sawmills in Lane County and manages 175,000 acres of privately-owned forestland in Western Oregon.
