High School Career Connect 2020

Join us Tuesday, March 10th for High School Career Connect to test the work-readiness of your future employees. Set up for your organization’s booth will take place March 9th, for a special event for Springfield School District Parents, where they will have the opportunity to meet local employers like yourself, and learn more about employment opportunities for their students. 

Students come to Career Connect #WorkReady for your company. During the program, you will have the opportunity to share information on your organization or industry, provide applications for prospective employees, and even interview students for internships, jobs, and job shadow positions.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about different career fields with local businesses.The representatives from these businesses will provide students with information that prepares them for these careers.

When registering, you will be asked a series of questions related to what your organization offers to students, e.g. post secondary education/training, job shadows, internships, apprenticeships, jobs, or industry information.

Registration Includes

  • One 6 foot rectangular table with table with table cloth
  • Two chairs
  • Please indicate in your registration whether you will need electricity. If you need electricity, you must bring your own extension cord. 

Booths must be staffed for the entire event:

March 9, 2020
5:00PM – 6:00PM Set Up
6:00PM – 8:00PM Parents Evening

March 10, 2020
8:00AM – 8:40AM Check In
8:40AM – 10:40AM High School Students
10:40AM – 11:40AM Lunch
11:40AM – 2:00PM Community College Students
