Plank Town Brewing Invites Artists to Submit Artwork for Beer Label Contest

Plank Town Brewing Company is calling out artists to submit custom/original artwork for a limited edition Barrel Aged & Bottled Pilsner featuring Axe & Fiddle in Cottage Grove’s 20th anniversary this fall.
Bart Caridio, co-owner of Plank Town Brewing in Springfield, Axe & Fiddle in Cottage Grove and formerly Sam Bonds Garage in Eugene, has built history around creating community by providing space, stages, and support to emerging musicians and nonprofit organizations in Lane County for over 20 years. To celebrate Axe & Fiddle’s 20th anniversary in November, they are inviting artists to showcase their art on a new beer label design for Plank Town Brewing.
“Now more than ever, we need to come together and support real artists in all forms. Original art is becoming replaced by AI everywhere we look. It’s watering down creativity and human expression and we want to break away from that and keep it real.”
– Jennifer Davis, Marketing Director, Breaking Free Media
Submissions are open to all levels of talent; you must be 21 years of age to submit. There is no entry fee required and artists can enter as many labels as they want. Submissions are open NOW and the submission deadline is September 15th. Entry forms are available online at planktownbrewing.com and axeandfiddle.com.
