The Clothing Room Re-Opens with new donation guidelines and the return of the Winter Clothing Drive

After over a year of closure for the Clothing Room at CCS, we are thrilled to announce that the Clothing Room will re-open on November 8th in Springfield. We are excited to resume giving away clothing items, free of charge, to our clients.  To celebrate the return of this service, CCS is holding a month-long “Warm Up for Winter” event.   Visit our website pages for more information:  www.ccslc.org   www.ccslc.org/warm   www.ccslc.org/items  

Sunday November 7th 10am – 1pm: 

“Drive Up and Donate” — Drive by the Springfield location at 1025 G. Street to drop off donations of new or gently used clothing.  Everyone who donates will receive a free raffle ticket for a handmade “Serenity Quilt” which will be on display.  (Tickets for purchase also available.)

Monday November 8th

Clothing Room Re-Opens to clients, one at a time, with Covid precautions and sanitizing.  To volunteer, please contact volunteer@ccslc.org

Winter Clothing Drive – donations of new or hand made hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, and socks are appreciated at the Springfield CCS clothing room M-F 8am-12pm or local churches and businesses listed on our webpage:  ccslc.org/warm

***Participate in the Winter Clothing Drive by hosting a collection point at your church or place of business.  Contact development@ccslc.org to find out more about becoming a donation site in November.

Serenity Quilt Raffle – This gorgeous handmade quilt was made in honor of CCS Food Pantry Legend, Joe Softich. Tickets are $10 each.  Buy 5 get the 6th free.
