Springfield Hosts City Hall-O-Ween on October 31st

The City of Springfield invites families, friends, and neighbors to join in the Halloween fun at this year’s City Hall-O-Ween, a free community celebration for all ages. On Friday, October 31, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Springfield City Hall will transform into a festive space filled with treats, activities, and entertainment.
Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy a safe, family-friendly Halloween experience featuring:
- A special performance by the U.S. Navy Band New Orleans–style brass band at 3:30 PM on the City Hall Plaza
- A Magic Show at 4:00 PM, guaranteed to amaze and delight
- Indoor trick-or-treating with City staff
- The Franz Grilled Cheese Truck serving free samples of a classic favorite
- A fire truck and first responders from the Springfield Fire Department
- Officers from the Springfield Police Department, joining the fun and engaging with families
- Additional all-ages activities provided by City staff and community partners
