Willamalane Park and Recreation District and Lane Transit District installed four new self-service bicycle repair stations at Willamalane’s community recreational facilities. Each station is free to use and is equipped with a bike pump, rack, and tools for common bike repairs, such as fixing a flat or adjusting the brakes.

Bike repair station locations:

  • Bob Keefer Center for Sports and Recreation (250 S 32nd St)
  • Splash at Lively Park (6100 Thurston Rd)
  • Willamalane Adult Activity Center (215 W C St)
  • Willamalane Park Swim Center (1276 G St)

“This project is a great example of what’s possible when community partners work together. By connecting LTD’s transportation options with Willamalane’s role in combining public parks and public transportation, we’re helping people get where they need to go safely and sustainably,” said Michael Wargo, Executive Director of Willamalane.

Each location also features kiosks with information about local bike routes and how to take your bike on the bus.

This project was funded through a transit grant from LTD.
