Willamalane announces pool opening date and summer events

Willamalane is sharing several exciting updates around reopening including the Willamalane Park Swim Center reopening date and some upcoming summer events. A full list of new openings and updates is available online at Willamalane.org/Alerts. 

Sounds Like Summer is back

Sounds Like Summer is Willamalane’s popular free family-friendly event series. This year the series will feature four movies and four concerts at Willamalane parks. There are significant safety modifications, including pre-registration requirements, limited capacity, and other adjustments. Full details on the adjusted event schedule and a new format for 2020 on our website at Willamalane.org/SoundsLikeSummer. 

Swimming pool opens Monday

Willamalane Park Swim Center will reopen June 22. Swimmers can expect new safety accommodations including advance reservation procedures, one-way traffic flow, capacity limits, adjusted programming, and increased sanitation protocols. Lap swim, dive swim, warm water swim, and water fitness classes will all be offered. The spa will be open to reservations and limited to one user per time block. Water slide use and rec swims are currently unavailable.  Registration for time blocks opened June 18.
