University of Oregon Winter-Spring 2022 Leadership Enrichment Internship Employer Invitation
University of Oregon is currently accepting employer applications for the Winter – Spring terms (January – April 2022) for their Leadership Enrichment Internship (LEI) program. They are inviting organizations to consider sponsoring an intern and partner with them to support the career advancement and leadership development for underrepresented students at the UO.
About LEI: The LEI program is a paid mentored internship experience enhanced with professional development, career advisement, networking opportunities, and real-life experience for students with diverse academic interests whose backgrounds are currently underrepresented in such careers. The program was first piloted in spring of 2016, and we are excited to partner with local and regional employers to continue this offering. Visit the LEI blog to learn more.
To sponsor an intern, please apply online by Friday, September 10, 2021 for full consideration. Attached is a copy of the Employer Application for reference. As an additional resource, also attached is an Internship Guide for Employers to help your organization plan a successful internship experience. We will host a virtual Employer Information Session on August 31, 2021, please register here to attend (Zoom link will be sent closer to the date).
