1Pass Gives Kids Affordable Access to Summer Fun

Sales Begin Friday, May 8, 2026
Willamalane Park and Recreation District and City of Eugene Recreation are again partnering to bring the 1Pass program to youth in Eugene and Springfield. 1Passes go on sale at 8:00am on Friday, May 8, 2026, and will be valid June 15 through Sept. 7.
The 1Pass is designed to support active, engaged summers for local youth. With a $60 1Pass card, kids 18 and younger can access 17 fun destinations all summer long, including local pools, mini-golf, a trampoline park, museums, and baseball games. Plus, all destinations are located along Lane Transit District bus routes, making transportation options easy. The more often kids use them and visit local businesses, the better the deal.
There are two ways to purchase a 1Pass, either through Willamalane or Eugene Rec. People will need to set up an account with the organization they would like to purchase from. If you buy a pass from the City of Eugene you will need an account with Eugene Rec, which you can set up here. Willamalane’s registration website is here. Scholarships are available.

Eugene Rec and Willamalane jointly run the 1Pass program and split the sales process. This year, each organization has 5,500 passes to sell for a total of 11,000. This limit helps maintain reasonable traffic to each destination. Since 2021, the 1Pass program has soared in popularity, selling out each season. In 2026, Springfield Public Schools purchased 2,000 passes for local students using grant funds to prevent the summer learning slide. Families selected through the lottery were notified directly by the district. With fewer SPS-funded passes than in previous years, more passes are available for public purchase from Willamalane.
1Pass is a unique partnership program that Willamalane began in 2012. It started small in that first year, but the idea of uniting private and public businesses to keep kids active during the summer set the foundation for what the program could become. Now, the program is jointly operated by the City of Eugene and Willamalane and includes 17 destinations, all served by LTD bus lines for easy access.
