Great Hour of Caring on Thursday!
Want to have a fulfilling lunch break in only 38 minutes??? The 7th Annual Great Hour of Caring, a “Virtual Brown Bag Lunch” is happening this Thursday, September 24th at noon! Mark your calendars and ask your friends to join hosts Liz and Reilly for entertainment, information about Catholic Community Services (CCS), surprise guests, and the opportunity to help.
In the previous year, CCS distributed almost 56,000 food boxes! Well over 30,000 people received food, clothing, rental and utility assistance, wrap-around case management services, and much more as they worked to move from poverty to stability.
Join CCS at noon on September 24 to find out about the vital work of CCS and how you can touch the lives of real families and individuals. The following link will go live on September 24th – http://ccslc.org/ghoc
Responding to Christ’s message to love our neighbors as ourselves, Catholic Community Services of Lane County offers immediate help by providing food and other assistance to anyone in need and seeks to instill hope by helping Lane County families take positive steps to move out of poverty. Today, Catholic Community Services distributes food boxes, provides emergency shelter and transitional housing, supports and educates young parents, and distributes energy assistance and other funds to aid people in a variety of difficult situations.
